Undergraduates, Graduates or Staff members of Queen’s University Belfast, Stranmillis University College or Union Theological College, and who are also members of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, are entitled and invited to join the Rising Sons of William (Queen’s) LOL 1845.
We are a positive and engaging Lodge of Limited Purpose (which you can only join by affiliation). From our formation in 2003 we have striven to support our brethren at QUB and advance the cause of Orangeism and Loyalism at our homeland universities, giving us a positive voice in the ongoing fight for Civil and Religious Liberty. Through our student accommodation, our engagement with the university via QUB Orange Society, our Bursary Information Clinics, our Parades and our Social events, we strive towards our constitutional remit “to unite in fraternity, past and present orange students, staff and alumni of the University”.
