In 2011 the Lodge decided that it was growing to such a degree that a permanent home would have to be acquired to service its expanding membership.
To this end a property was purchased to act as a combined “Orange Hall” and student accommodation for students.
It’s name is “Croom Elbow”, is derived from the name of the coffee house where some of the original architects of the Glorious Revolution met in the Netherlands; essentially the first Orange Gathering.
It is currently used by the lodge for meetings, events, and also by the Orange Societies of both of Ulster’s universities.
There are usually vacancies for tenants at competitive rates each year open to members of the institution and others. For more information, please contact us.
